September 4, 2024 – September 22, 2026
With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Santiago Santi Rogelio Portillo Martínez, who left this world on September 22, 2026, at the tender age of two.
Santi brought an immeasurable amount of love, happiness, and light into the lives of everyone who knew him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever.
Santi was a sweet, loving, and joyful little boy who found happiness in the simplest things. He loved watching Spurs games, spending precious time with his family, and enjoying his favorite foods—especially bean and cheese, eggs, and green beans. He loved holding tightly to his beloved carrot and could always be found enjoying his favorite toys, especially his light-up toys.
Santi loved going to the car wash with Mom, riding in his swing, and playing with his ball. He especially loved the movie “Cars.” His little feet were always kicking, earning him the loving nickname “Happy Feet,” as he rolled, kicked, and explored the world around him.
He loved his soft blankets, stern pats, and head rubs. He loved being held close, and he found comfort in the warmth and love of his family. He also enjoyed watching Bluey and Mickey Mouse, bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.
Above all, Santi loved being surrounded by his family. His beautiful smile, sweet spirit, little laughs, happy feet, and loving presence brought joy to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He may have been small, but the love he left behind is immeasurable.
Santi will forever be loved and remembered by his beloved parents, Alexis Cecilia Martinez and Ivis Rolando Portillo Mendoza.
