Sergio M. Saenz, beloved father, passed away on November 28, 2013 at the age of 97. A World War II veteran, he retired from Kelly Air Force Base after years of dedicated civil service. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years, Nieves, and later by dear companion Catalina Robertson. A devoted family man, he is survived by sons, Dan and wife Kathi, Roy and wife Liz; daughter Edna; 4 grandchildren, Steven, Melissa and husband Christophe Moser, Joshua & Rene; 3 great grandchildren, Leo, Paloma and Max; brother Joe and wife Mary Saenz; sister Eulalia Stoll, many nieces & nephews. The Family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., Thursday December 5, 2013 at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m., Friday December 6, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a Committal Service at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 10:15 a.m.
