OBITUARY

Stella G. Aguilar

June 6, 1921February 28, 2018

Estella (Stella) G. Aguilar, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, born on June 6, 1921 in Poth, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2018 at the age of 96. She is preceded in death by spouses, Gustavo (Gus) G. Aguilar and Leonardo Davila and son Gus G. Aguilar Jr. Stella, being the last of 14 brothers and sisters is now at peace with her Parents and Siblings in their heavenly reward.

Stella is survived by Daughters Olga Perez-Meredith, Viola Fraga and Joann Aguilar, Granddaughters Barbara J. Valadez, Lisa Perez Aldaco, Cassandra Fraga, Dana M. Perez and Gina R. Perez, Great Grandchildren Kristen L. Aldaco, Demi Jimenez and Derek Jimenez, as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 5:00PM with Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM at Roy Akers Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 9:00am at St. Henry’s Catholic Church with a procession from the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A Reception to celebrate Stella’s life will follow at 519 General Krueger, San Antonio, Texas.

The family is most appreciative for the loving care provided by caregivers Carmen Mendoza, Aurelia White and Holy Savior Hospice Group.
