She was a loving and devoted wife who always found time to help others in her family and community. In her younger years, she was a talented seamstress. Later in life, she enjoyed shopping with her friends and having lunch with her Godchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband: Leon C. Rodriguez; her brothers Heribeto Valdez and Rueben Valdez and her sister Elida V. Esparza.
She is survived by: Francisca V. Macias, Reynaldo Alfred Valdez, Olga V. Hernandez, and Ofelia V. Benavidez.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Roy Akers on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. On Monday, February 10, the funeral procession will depart at 12:30 p.m. for a 1:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Luke’s Catholic Church with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
