

Thomas Ryan Murphy Sr. was born in St. Louis Missouri on April 25, 1959, to the union of the late Thomas and Wanda Murphy. His parents, his brother Christopher and his twin daughters Alesha and Keisha preceded him in death.
Thomas graduated from Northwest High School in 1979, married his high school sweetheart “Rosalyn Frazier” and joined the United States Marine Corps. He received his CNA from Forest Park Community College and obtained his CDL from Jay’s Truck Driving Training School. Thomas worked as a CNA at Allways Kare Residential and as a Leak Truck Supervisor at Laclede Gas Company for almost 20 years.
Thomas was a member and a deacon at Haven House City of Refuge Church in St. Louis, Mo guided by the leadership of Pastor Michael A. Fulks. He later attended Shoreline City Church in San Antonio, Tx under the leadership of Pastor Andrew Scott.
His passion for swimming, bowling, fishing and chess was evident as he taught these skills to his children and to the youth at the local YMCA.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Rosalyn Murphy, his five children Shacolby Rockamore, Issica Sewell (Maurice), his namesake, Thomas Murphy Jr. (Carmen), Georgenne Murphy, Mansfield Murphy and his bonus daughter DeNiece Kemp. His mother-in-law Dorothy Hubbard his brothers, Lyonell Murphy and Clarence Murphy (Mary) his cousin/brother Darwyn Dave, his brother-in-law Michael Frazier his sister-in-law Sharla Frazier, his best friend Kelvin Wings and his seven grandchildren Charles, Daniel, Renee, Jordyn, Ryan, Thomas and Nora and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
