Tomasa R. Gaeta

She was born in D’Hanis, Texas on September 22, 1928 to her parents, the late Mariano and Juanita Rodriguez.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 43 years, Victor R. Gaeta; her sisters, Margarita Ovalle, Camila Moreno, Martha Quintero, and Catarina Rodriguez; and her brothers, Ladisladio, Hipolito, and Natividad Rodriguez.

Tomasa leaves to cherish her memory her son, Steven R. Gaeta (Yolanda), her daughter, Kathy Louise Gaeta, her daughter, Victoria Lorraine Gaeta, and her son, James Phillip Gaeta (David Hammerberg); her grandchildren, Melissa Villareal (George), Stephanie Gaeta (Curtis), Roy G. Roque (Trisha), Victor Alexander Roque (Vanessa), Christopher Martin Zapata (Jackie); her great-grandchildren, Gianna Villarreal, Allanah Villarreal, Gulianna Villarreal, Olivia Tyler, Temperance Roque, Alijah Roque, Orion Matthew Zapata, Jeremiah Roque, Joseph Roque, Julianna Roque; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who all adored her.

The family will be receiving friends for a Visitation on Monday, December 2nd from 5 PM to 9 PM at Roy Akers Funeral Home – 515 N. Main Ave. 78205 – with a Rosary Service to be recited at 7 PM. On Tuesday, December 3rd, a Funeral Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 AM and arrive at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church – 1730 Dahlgreen Ave. 78237 – for a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial at San Fernando Cemetery II – 746 Castroville Rd. 78237 – will follow at the conclusion of the funeral service.
