

Tomasa San Miguel, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, entered rest on December 9, 2014 at the age of 95. She was born in Floresville, Texas on April 28, 1919 to Pedro and Francisca Longoria. Tomasa was a strong woman of faith, and devoted member of El Sendero de la Cruz Assembly of God for over 65 years, and also a "Golden Ager" with the church. She enjoyed, gardening, listening to her music, sewing and embroidering and will be remembered by her family for her strength and love. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elias San Miguel, Sr. and their daughter, Carmen Trevino. She is survived by children: Margaret Bernshausen, Mary Helen Estrada, Dolores Rivera, Sarah Contreras and husband Andrew, Elias San Miguel and wife Esther, Cecilio San Miguel, Richard San Miguel and wife Eva, Mary Grace De Hoyos, and Alfred Brown; brother, Cleto Gonzales and wife Vangie; 44 grandchildren; 86 great-grandchildren; 31 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 14, 2014 for a 6:00 p.m. Prayer Service at Funeraria Del Angel Roy Akers.
