Tony F. Sanchez, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on December 16, 1933, to Lillie Talamantes and Clement Flores.
Tony was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Sandra; her husband of 54 years, Marcelino Sanchez Sr.; and her sister Gloria. She leaves behind a large, loving family who will always cherish her memory: her eight children, Marcelino Jr., Manuel, Roger, Joann, Irene, Diana, Richard, and Robert as well as their spouses. Tony is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; her brothers: Eddie, Sam,and Victor; and her sister Horencia.
Tony’s heart and home were always open to family, and her love and devotion to them were unwavering. She never missed the chance to sit down daily with her Bible and spend time with God. She had a special ability to make everyone feel cherished, and her strength, wisdom, and kindness will be missed by all who knew her.
