Eva Acosta passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, at the age of 68. She was born on July 12, 1958, in San Benito, Texas, where she spent her life surrounded by the family, friends, and community she loved.
Eva was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—sitting outside enjoying the fresh air, listening to her favorite rock and roll music, cooking, keeping a welcoming home, and, above all, spending precious time with her grandchildren.
She loved gathering with family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, stories, and love. Whether spending time at the gas station with friends, listening to music, or enjoying her favorite drink—a Natural Light or Bud Light—Eva had a gift for making every moment memorable. She was truly the life of the party and never missed an opportunity to raise a toast to the people she loved.
Eva also enjoyed visiting parks, spending time outdoors, and watching football with her grandchildren. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her family and friends, creating memories that will forever be cherished.
She is survived by her children, Remigio Acosta and Priscilla Acosta; her grandchildren, Kayla, Alexis Marie Acosta, Brandon Lee Naranjo, and Alfredo Naranjo Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Maddison Paulette Woodall, Adalyn Rose Woodall, Weston Valentino Woodall, Julius Anthony Benavidez, Jiraya Reign Tobar, and Mallory Lilia Naranjo; and her sisters, Ramona Benavidez (Arnulfo) and Mary Benavidez (preceded in death by Santiago).
