Frankie was born January 23, 1943, in Jarrell, Texas to Frank and Frances Lefner. Frankie was raised in Lyford, Texas. He graduated from Lyford High School in 1961.
In 1971, he married Nina Scott, the love of his life. Frankie began farming at a young age and continued until he retired. Frankie was a devoted husband, dad, grandfather, uncle and friend. He loved his family with his whole heart. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was the life of the party.
Frankie is survived by his daughters Barbara Lefner (Robert Hall), Brenda Stewart (Kevin), and Belle Lefner, his son, Frankie Lefner Jr., grandchildren Andrew Stewart, Dakota Stewart, and Cheyenne Stewart, brothers Emil Lefner and Daniel Lefner, his sisters Jo Ann Witmer and Rosemary White, 7 nieces and 2 nephews, and his beloved dog “Peaches”.
Frankie was preceded in death by his wife Nina Lefner, his parents Frank and Frances Lefner and his brother Milton Lefner.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta with a rosary at 7:00 PM.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 9:00 AM at St Anthony's Catholic Church, 464 S 1st St, Raymondville, TX 78580. With a burial at 11:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Stewart, Juan Correa, Sammy Skoog, Richard Sladecek, Matt Whitaker and Ben Brister. Honorary pallbearers will be Frankie Lefner Jr. and Darren Lefner.
