Maria Alonzo de Becerra

On January 21st, 2024, Maria Becerra passed away peacefully to be with the Lord. Maria was blessed with 80 years of life. She made her home here in San Benito a place where all were invited and welcomed. Most days she could be found outside tending to her garden. She loved plants and flowers which was apparent by her beautiful yard. Her humorous side was often brought out by her grandchildren with whom she loved spending time with. She is survived by her brother Gabriel Alonzo, her son Ruben Maldonado (Patricia), daughters Martina Martinez and Nancy Becerra (Tony). As well as grandchildren Lauren, Patty, Victor, Luis, Lorena, Alex, Isabella, Lily and Alejandra. She was loved by so many and will always be remembered for her caring and giving ways.

A Visitation for Maria will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta Funeral Home. Prayer Service will start at 5:30 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7 PM . Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
