Maria Flavia Garza

Maria Flavia Garza, age 82, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022. Maria was born May 7, 1940. Maria is survived by her husband, Ismael S. Garza; her son Melquiades Martinez (Karmina); her daughter Siria Molina (Juan Carlos); and her daughter Christina Contreras (Ricardo). She also leaves 15 Grandchildren and 37 Great Grandchildren. Maria was preceded in death by her sons Martin M Garza and Jose Luis Garza. She enjoyed playing Bingo and trying her luck playing at the slot machines. Her other passion was spending time knitting. Most of all, she loved being with her family. She would alternate treating her grandchildren to meals so she could spread her love with them all. A Visitation for Maria will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586 with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Funeral Service will occur Monday, May 16, 2022 at 2:00 PM, with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
