Rene is survived by his spouse, Esperanza Barrientos-Garcia; his son Rene Garcia, Jr. (Eva Cecilia Garcia); his grandchild Alyssa Renee Garcia, his grandchild Rene Edward Garcia, (Julissa Christine Ramirez), his great-grandchild Rene Anthony Garcia, his great-grandchild Teresa Anastasia Garcia and his great-grandchild Leia Anaveah Garcia.
Rene was preceded in death by his father Jesus Garcia and his mother Matiana Garcia; his brother Beto Garcia and his brother Ramon Garcia.
A visitation for Rene will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas 78586. A rosary will occur Friday, November 12, 2021 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta with burial to follow at 11:00 AM at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
