Roberto was married to Alberta Morales Esquivel for 58 years and a loving father to Roberto Esquivel Jr. (Consuelo), Joel Esquivel (Gloria), Sylvia Esquivel Ortega (Raymundo), Raul Esquivel (Janet), Melba Esquivel (Gilbert), Monica Esquivel Almaguer (Eddie).
Our father's nicknames were "El Choco" in his younger years and "Tito" in his older years given by his oldest grandson Adrian. Our father started working at a very young age polishing shoes. As he got older he would work in fields in different states in the U.S. for many years.
Our father enjoyed the ranch life, he liked taking care of his goats, chickens and dogs, and living outside of the city. Our father had a second chance in life when he received his liver transplant on December 29, 2000.
Our father also leaves behind 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. As well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Luis Sanchez and his mother Aurelia Esquivel; his brothers, Armando Sanchez and Domingo Sanchez.
I love you and "Tito" I am missing you already.
