Rodolfo Cavazos Leal

Rodolfo was preceded in death by his parents, Federico and Eugenia Leal. He is also reunited in heaven with his brothers, Eloy Leal, Luis Leal, and Hector Leal, Ricardo Leal, Patricio Leal and his sister, Merry Lucio.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Consuelo Garza Leal. Together, they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. He also leaves behind his children: son Michael Edward Leal (Rachel) of San Benito; son Mario Leal (Veronica) of San Benito, Texas; and daughter Michelle Ann Leal of San Benito; his sisters; Arminda Ratliff, Yolanda Garcia, Fina Fernandez, Lucila Garza; his brother, Daniel Leal.

Rodolfo was a proud and devoted grandfather to Christian Michael Leal, Ryan Matthew Leal, Nikolas Alejandro Leal, Luke Edwardo Leal, and Layla Araceli Leal. His grandchildren were a source of immense pride and happiness, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

A hardworking and determined man, Rodolfo owned and operated R Leal Trucking Company. Through his dedication and strong work ethic, he provided for his family and built a legacy of perseverance and responsibility.

In his free time, Rodolfo loved hunting and fishing, and he had a deep appreciation for ranching and the outdoors. Above all, having his entire family together meant the most to him. Whether gathered for a meal, a holiday, or a simple visit, those moments brought him true happiness.

Rodolfo will be remembered for his strength, his love for the land, his devotion to his family, and the example he set for those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through his wife, children, grandchildren, and all whose lives he touched.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park, located at 26170 State Highway 345, San Benito, Texas, 78586, on February 17, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A Holy Rosary will take place at the same location on February 17, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

The Chapel Funeral Service is scheduled for February 18, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta & Memorial Park. The burial will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park, located at the same address, on February 18, 2026, at 11:00 am.
