Rosa worked at Rosary Floral & Nursery and Perry's 5 Cent Store and retired from JCPenney. She loved being around her family, to Rosa family was everything she was a loving caring woman, she would remember to send a birthday cards to every single family member every year. She would dedicate her Sundays to do her Sunday calling to family members to check on them.
Rosa is survived by her son Jose Martin Martinez; her brothers Juan M. Martinez (Minerva) and Gustavo H. Martinez, her sisters Enedina Sanchez (Antonio), Natalia M. Zapata, Silvia Briceno (Jesus) and Dolly Barrera (Timoteo); her grandsons Isaac Martinez and Adam Martinez. Rosa also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews all who will miss her dearly.
Rosa was preceded in death by her husband Lorenzo Uvalle; her parents Manuel & Rita H. Martinez; her brother Gualberto "Bert" Martinez.
The Family would like to extend their gratitude to Lucy & Staff @ Lucy's Hope House for the comforting & loving care of Rosa during the last couple of months of her life.
A visitation for Rosa will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Mont Meta, with burial to follow at 2:00 pm at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Adam Zapata Jr., Michael Martinez, Antonio Sanchez Jr., Francisco X. Martinez, Isaac I. Martinez, Alberto A. Sanchez, Isaac Martinez, Adam Martinez and Jose M. Martinez . Honorary Pallbearers will be Isaac Martinez, Adam Martinez, and Jose M. Martinez.
