With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Vicente Banda, a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, proud United States Air Force veteran, and faithful servant of God. He was a man whose strength was not measured by loud words, but by quiet actions, steady character, and unwavering love for his family and community.
Vicente proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971 with courage, honor, and dedication. His commitment to protecting the freedoms of others reflected the same loyalty and integrity he carried throughout his life. In recognition of his faithful military service, full military honors will be rendered in his memory.
A hardworking and dependable provider, Vicente always placed his family first. He led not with many words, but through example — showing those around him the importance of humility, responsibility, honesty, and perseverance. Though he was a man of few words, when he spoke, people listened. His quiet wisdom, strength, and presence earned the respect of everyone who knew him.
Vicente enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He loved baseball and found joy in watching the game he cherished so much. He was also a loyal fan of the Dallas Cowboys and proudly supported his team through every season. He enjoyed classic western movies, admiring the values of courage, loyalty, and honor they represented.
Later in life, Vicente embraced his Christian faith wholeheartedly. His relationship with God became an important part of his life, and Christian music brought him comfort, peace, and joy. His faith was reflected in the kindness he showed to others, always willing to help someone in need without expecting anything in return.
