Adrian was raised by his paternal grandparents, Mildred and Joseph Roy Sr. He accepted his faith at an early age at Martin de Porras Catholic Church in Barrett Station, TX. He graduated from Crosby High School in Texas.
He was always a hard worker and was a warehouse employee for many years.
He loved cars and was a mechanic, always tinkering and fixing his favorite cars. He was a generous, friendly man whom everyone loved. You could always count on Adrian to be a kind soul in a time of need. To his friends, he was known as "Pos," a nickname derived after his favorite wine, Positano.
Adrian is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Roy Singleton Jr.
Adrian leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 41 years, Tonia Stovall; his brothers, Tyran (Alicia) of Crosby, Texas, Tyron II, and Alicia from Texas. Aron, Evin, Eric (Donna) of Los Angeles, California, and Jason of San Bernardino, California; his sister, Donna; his godchildren, Sariya Johnson, Vinieshay Jackson, Jacoby McGinnis, Zahir Berman, and Rayvon Richardson; his nieces and nephews, Yvonne, Yvette, Christina, Tyra, Erionna, Jayla, Jayden, Torry and Mychael; and a host of other cousins, great-nieces and -nephews Aron and Evin, and friends. Services will be held at Mt. View Mortuary and Cemetery with Pastor Joe presiding. Felicia Jackson will be making the announcements and Jason Singleton will present the eulogy. Paris Williams will be the singer.
