Floyd Walker Sr.

Floyd Walker a beloved father and husband went on to eternal life with his Heavenly Father, on March 28th 2016. He was born to the union of John & Mittie Walker on October 29,1929. Growing into a strong young man he loved and married Eula Bertha Wilson for 62 years raising a family of eight children; Carol Ann Walker, Sharlene Annette Walker; who preceded their father in death to the kingdom leaving Joe & Jerrell Ann (Walker) Smith, Odessa Marie Walker, Floyd & Wanda Walker Jr, Tommy Ray & Liz Walker, Diane Walker, and Brian Kent Walker.

Starting their family in Louisiana and moving to California in the 60s for a better life. He chose farming and construction work to provide for his family. He has gone to be with his parents John & Mittie Walker, 4 brothers Dallas Walker, Ralph Walker and Dick Walker, David Walker, 3 sisters; Edith Scott, Doris Bradley and Josephine Walker in Eternal Life.

Floyd Walker leaves to cherish his memories his wife Eula Walker, his sons and daughters, a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, Sister Frankie Bee Walker, four brothers, Harry Walker (Stella) of Alexandria, LA, Ansell Walker (Ernestine) of Shreveport, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Heavenly Father saw the road was getting rough. The hills were hard to climb. He gently closed those loving eyes and whispered, Peace be thine... The weary hours, the days of pain, the sleepless night are past, and now our father has found sweet peace at last.
