Christopher Kim Tran

Chris was deeply loved by his family, friends, and community. He was a generous spirit with a big heart, known for his adventurous nature, his passion for the outdoors, and his ability to make everyone feel welcome. Chris was a proud business owner in San Jose, co-founding and operating his marketing and promotion business, BrandingOut LLC, with partner Carlos since 2009. The business remained in the same location from the day they opened, becoming a beloved fixture in the community.

Those left to cherish Chris’s memory include his father, Tuyen Tran; mother, Vickie Huynh; sister, Elizabeth Tran; stepmother, Hong Nguyen; stepfather, Ray Kong; uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family; business partner, Carlos Cornejo; lifelong friends; neighbors and customers who became part of his extended community.

A funeral service will be held at Oak Hill in San Jose, CA on Thursday, August 21, 2025 9am-8pm and Friday, August 22, 2025 9am-12pm. All who knew and loved Chris are welcome to attend the services and honor his memory.
