

Charles Henry Waters of Dunwoody, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the comfort of his own home. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Henry Thomas Waters and Jewel King Waters on December 23, 1930. Charles graduated from Brown High School in 1949 and then graduated from
Georgia Tech in 1954 with his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management. He proudly served in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged at a Lieutenant Commander. He was awarded the Korean United Nations Medal and the National Defense Award. Charles went on to be a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10822, Dunwoody/Sandy Springs. He was a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was past Master of Oakland City Masonic Lodge, he retired after 30 years with General Motors where he worked as an Industrial Engineer. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sarah Enzor Waters, sister Marguerite W. Brock (Richard), niece Beverly McCrillis, nephew Walter P. Enzor, III (Cindy), niece Stacy E. Finelli (Tony), great nieces Addison Enzor and Zoë Finelli, great nephews Will and Jacob Enzor. Sister-in-law Virginia P. Enzor. He is preceded in death by sister, Eloise W. Moon, brother-in-law Walter P. Enzor, Jr. and a nephew, Rick Brock. Memorial contributions may be made to Dunwoody Baptist Church or to Weinstein Hospice.
