Mr. Don Millard Updegraff, Jr. of Woodstock was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 26, 1941 and passed away December 4, 2013 at the age of 72. Don was a graduate of Florida State University and then joined C&S Bank in 1963 and was retired in 2003 from Regions Bank, and continued his career in banking at First Citizens Bank until 2012. He is survived by his wife, Susan Willis Updegraff; children Kristen Updegraff of Savannah, Miller Updegraff (Heather) of Los Angeles, CA, Ashleigh Hynes (Matt) of Canton, Paige Atchison (Alan) of Birmingham, AL, Rebecca Parker of Dawsonville; grandchildren, Caden Updegraff, Matilda Updegraff, Elizabeth Horne, Emily Horne, Jessica Parker and Evan Atchison. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Johns Creek Baptist Church. Dr. William Self will officiate.
