Doris Bell Barrett

.Mrs. Doris North Bell Barrett, age 88, of Sandy Springs died September 25, 2015. Doris was a member of Sandy Springs First Baptist Church, Dorothy Benson Center and was a longtime employee with the Internal Revenue Service. Her hobbies and passions included crafts, watercolor painting, gardening, clay sculpturing and travel. She is survived by her daughter, Gwen Bell Darby and her husband Rick; sons Otis C. Bell, Jr. and his wife Cindy and Greg Bell and his wife Nancy. Survivors also include grandchildren, Kelly Darby; Ashley Bell Sailors and her husband Drew and Casey Bell; great grandchildren Reagan Catherine Sailors and Chandler Grace Sailors: sisters, Juanita Nida, Allene Eldridge, Geraldine Glaccum and Linda Bennett: brothers, Lewis North, Kermit North and Larry North. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to her niece, Debbie Bell, Kadan Home Health Care and Halcyon Hospice for their loving and tender care of Doris Barrett. . The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy. NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel. Rev. David Shivers will officiate. Interment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park. Following the interment, a reception will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel.
