Eileen Mae Falk

Eileen Mae Warnemunde Falk was born July 28, 1927 in Le Center, Minnesota. She grew up there until she was 15 and then moved to Minneapolis with her mother, Mary Agnes and sisters, Mary and Alice.

As a young woman, Eileen worked in sales at Donaldson’s department store in Minneapolis where she soon met Donald Falk, the love of her life. They married and moved to Kansas City, Missouri and then Michigan. They lived and raised their two daughters, Pam and Amy, in Jackson, Michigan. The family dog, Wicky, was always by her side. Don and Eileen eventually spent winters in Sarasota, Florida and later retired full time to Clark Lake, Michigan.

Over the years she volunteered at many Jackson organizations. Eileen co-founded the first Lumen Christi auction. Eileen and Don were members of Lamplighters Dancing Club, the Country Club of Jackson, and members of Queen of the Miraculous Medal parish in Jackson and St. Rita’s at Clark Lake.

Eileen loved spending time with family and friends. Frequently entertaining at their home and even hosting parties on the pontoon boat at Clark Lake. Everyone always felt special and welcomed.

Her pride and joy were her daughters, Pam and Amy, and grandchildren, Erin and Andrew. The family spent many joyful times in Florida, summers together at Clark Lake, and skiing in Gaylord, Michigan. She cherished her time baking and preparing holiday meals with the help of her grandkids. They loved their Pop and Grandma. We will all miss her dearly.

Eileen is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, her parents, Mary Agnes and Raymond Warnemunde, sisters, Mary O’Brien and Alice Jacques, and son-in-law Kevin Scott. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Falk and Amy Falk Scott, and her grandchildren Erin Scott (Brandon) and Andrew Scott.

Per the family’s wishes a private service will be held at a later date.
