James Rush Harris, Jr. of Smyrna, GA died October 13, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Jane L. Harris; daughters, Jennifer Cook of Tampa, FL, Judy (Mike) Hood of Woodstock, GA; grandson, Eric T. Cook. He was a member of the Yaarab Shrine Temple and a 50 year member of Leroy-Duncan Masonic Lodge in Atlanta. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2013 in Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00pm Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy Sandy Springs, GA 30328. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Yaarab Shrine Hospital Fund, 400 Ponce de Leon Ave, Atlanta, GA 30308.
