James was a hardworking and an intelligent person. He cared for others more than himself, which was why he dedicated himself to performing his best as a Gastroenterologist at Kaiser Permanente. James was a doctor for over 30 years and he always enjoyed an overbooked schedule.
While he whole-heartedly dedicated his energy and care to his patients, he finally found the love of his life in 2014 and married her in 2021. James was the biggest kid at heart and was always opened to new experiences. He experienced his first hiking adventure in 2015 and from there, it was a routine for him to hike every year. James enjoyed music and has a set of drums in his home that he would play when he returned from work. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and would catch the games when he had time. He faithfully believed in Jesus Christ and appreciates the bond he formed with Cathedral of Christ the King.
James looked at life with the youngest and brightest smile on his face. He cared for how others feel and internalized a lot of his own feelings even during his battle with cancer. He knew exactly what he needed to do in the limited time he had. Internally he was vulnerable but never externally. He reassured his wife and family with the brightest smile and the sweetest love for life. Until his last moments, he wanted to make sure everything was in place including his families, patients, and friends. He loved all that was around him.
James is survived by his best friend and wife, Kim Thuy Linnane. Along with his four sisters, nieces, and nephews.
