Known to many as Jerry, JC, Friend, Coach, Cousin, Uncle, Brother “Bay”, Son, Poppy, and most importantly, Daddy. He is survived by his four daughters: Joy Elaine Froug, Terri Ellen Froug, Robyn Liza Froug Long (Steve), and Stefani Paige Froug Bohannon (Steven). Four precious grandchildren: Brittani and Corey Long, and Gracyn and Blakely Bohannon; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Simon Froug; sister, Pauline Froug; brothers, Morris, Melvin, and Herbert Froug. He leaves behind his most treasured possession, his precious English Bulldog, Beau. He played football at Grady High School and continued playing college football at UGA with legendary Erk Russell. He was a Georgia Bulldog for life. One of his most beloved experiences was his 43 year football coaching career at Pop Warner, where he mentored and left a lifelong impression on the many young men he coached. We will miss his sweet presence, but are at peace to know he is finally headed to his eternal home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 2:30pm at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
