JoAnne Benton Hanes, 81 died quietly in the peace of her home, August 23, 2017. JoAnne worked as a flight Stewardess for Southern Airways. She was a devoted wife, mother, and Grandmother. She is predeceased by her Husband Captain George Hanes and her Son Mark E. Hanes. JoAnne is survived by her siblings Martha Davey Smith, Kate B. Harrison, and Larry Benton. Additionally she leaves behind grand daughters’: Maggie Mae Hanes, Julie Ann Hanes and
Natashia Davis. Visitation will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel on Friday August 25, 2017 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home’s Chapel Saturday August 26 at 11:00am with burial to follow at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
