.John Soto, age 69, of Sandy Springs passed away on February 5, 2015 at Emory St. Joseph Hospital. John was a graduate of Mercer University and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era as pilot and then spent 5 years in the reserves. Following his military service he continued to enjoy flying and working in the family grocery business. He is survived by his Mother, Nancy Soto; sisters Gloria McCurdyand Linda Petro and her husband Tony Petro all of Sandy Springs. Survivors also include many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Sandy Springs Chapel.
