Jonas B. Arem, age 97, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Jonas was born June 15, 1926 to the late Herman and Gussie Arem. Joe was a proud WWII veteran and avid racquetball player until the age of 90.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Judith and his partner of 22 years Sandy Klarer.
Joe is survived by his children, son; Andrew Arem and his partner Mayra Brooks of Roswell, Georgia, as well as his daughter; Dana and Steve Davis of Birmingham, Alabama, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Dr. Edward and Ellen Mandel his two nieces; Bonnie Mandel and Meredith Mandel, as well as four grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Arem will be held on Tuesday July 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Sandy Springs Chapel Funeral Directors, interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
