Karen Knudson Rosner, age 70, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at home in Marietta after a year-long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born to Malvin and Ruth Knudson on April 22, 1944 in Chicago, IL. Karen attended Maine Township High School before attending Butler University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was an active member in the community and served with many charitable organizations over the years, including Circle for Children and Widow’s Mite. Karen had a deep love of God and was a founding member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Family and friends were Karen’s passion and delight, for whom she loved to host and entertain at her home. Karen is survived by her husband, Bernard A. Rosner, her daughters Jennifer Patrick and Missy Bain, her parents Malvin and Ruth Knudson, her brother, Greg Knudson, and her grandchildren, Hunter Rosner, Braxton Troxell, and JJ, Lauren, and Luke Bain. Family visitation will take place on Friday, March 27 between 2-4pm and 7-9pm while funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28 at 3pm - both at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 4814 Paper Mill Rd, Marietta, GA 30067.
