Lucy Diane Davidson

Lucy Diane Davidson, 68, of Cumming, GA, passed away on December 9, 2015 at Northside-Forsythe Hospital in Cumming, GA after a brief illness. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Mac and Lucy Davidson. She was a graduate of Dykes High School in Atlanta, GA and attended Wesleyan College in Macon, GA. She was retired from General Electric and spent the last 17 years at Automatic Data Processing (ADP).

Diane was a remarkably giving woman and in addition to her contributions at ADP, she spent her Saturdays volunteering at the Forsyth County Humane Society to help socialize the kittens and cats so they could find new homes. She also nurtured and fed the wild animals around her home, nursing several back to health.

Diane is survived by her life partner of 29 years, Clifford Bailey; sister, Evelyn Allen, and niece Carey Allen, of California; nephews, David and Chip Allen, of Texas; son Eric Bagshaw, wife Becky; granddaughters Samantha and Katie Bagshaw and great granddaughter Laney of Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sandy Springs Chapel at 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy. Sandy Springs, GA 30328, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
