Margaret M.(Sis) Parker

Margaret Monroe Parker passed peacefully this past Friday evening 06/12/15. A memorial service will be held at Sandy Springs Chapel on Sunday, 06/21/15 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Margaret was truly a woman of service, giving back ever since the untimely death of her husband of 29 years, James Eli in 1983. She worked with Hospice, taking care of infants in a care facility, adopting seniors at the senior center she resided at and lastly caring for many in the nursing home she was in. Never a complaint about the cards life dealt her, “Sis” as her friends called her – was a giver of love up to her final time here. She is survived by son Jeremy Parker, son Michael Parker, daughter Vaughn Armstrong, daughter Cynthia, granddaughters Dylan, Heidi and Kristen, and grandson Justin.
