I met Gerry in 1982 at a cat show.we became friends for the next 40 years(close enough that my daughter is named Margaret) will love and miss her forever

Gary This Is Billy Strain, 1st cousin of Gerry, My Mother was Annie Mary Metzger Strain sister to Gerry's father George W. Metzger.

Sorry to hear of Gerrys passing. Eric anderson told me today.  I had called him to tell him about my sister's, Juanita,  husband Bernard Domning passing this week. 

Understand Gerry died from covid.

Gerry was an intelligent, kind and generous woman. I will never forget her mentoring in the show hall or her commitment to improving the Maine Coon cat breed. She was a class act in every regard. She will be missed by all in the cat fancy and by me. ❤️
