

Born May 31, 1933, in Mantua, New Jersey, to Anne and Walter Watson, she moved to Brunswick, Georgia in 1946 and graduated from Glynn Academy in 1951. On January 18, 1953, she married Victor Philip Aloisio in St. Williams Catholic Church on Saint Simons Island, Georgia.
Phyllis was a member of Indian Hills Country Club and loved to play tennis and golf. She will be especially remembered for her dedication to her family and how she loved to sing.
Her survivors include her husband of 57 years, Victor Aloisio, Sr., her sister, Janet Cook French of Cartersville, Georgia, her brother Walter Avis Watson, Jr. of Brunswick, Georgia, son and his wife, Vic and Carol Aloisio, Jr. of Suwanee, Georgia, daughter and her husband, Cindy and Jim Sims of Duluth, Georgia and daughter and her husband, Allie and Doug Albey of Buford, Georgia. Phyllis had five grandchildren, Katie Honeycutt of Houston, Texas, Philip Aloisio of Suwanee, Georgia, Josh Albey of Buford, Georgia and Austin and Brandon Sims of Duluth, Georgia. She had a great granddaughter, Hannah Rose Honeycutt of Houston, Texas; and nieces and nephews. Phyllis also leaves behind her beloved dog, Teddy.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 13, 2011 from 5 to 8 at Sandy Springs Chapel. A funeral Service will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 at 10:00 at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Highway, Sandy Springs, GA.
