Robert Wallace (Bob) Ryals of Dunwoody went to join the Lord on Thursday August 29, 2013 after a valiant battle with several serious health issues. A funeral service in his honor will be held on Saturday August 31st at 11:00 AM at the Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mt. Vernon Hwy., Sandy Springs, GA. The service will be officiated by Dr. Scott Downing from First Baptist of Atlanta and will be followed by interment at Arlington Memorial Park. Bob worked full time while earning a Business Degree from Georgia State University. After serving in the Army, he spent 30 years with the IBM Corporation before starting Insurance Now, a successful health insurance agency. Bob was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with family and friends at their second home in Navarre, FL where he attended First Baptist Church of Navarre. Bob is survived by his wife Dale Bryan Ryals, children Bobby & Becky Ryals of Racine WI; Price & Terri Potter of Dunwoody; Holly Conley of Dunwoody; and Ryan & Brandy Ryals of Seattle WA, along with their thirteen grandchildren.
