Ronald Blum

Mr. Ronald Morris Blum, 69, of Alpharetta, GA passed away on March 11, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in the small town of Washington, GA and was a proud veteran of the United States Naval Academy from 1962-1966. He started his career with Ivan Allen office supplies and worked his way up the corporate ladder to VP of Sales for Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company. Ron was extremely successful in business, all while being a supportive husband and loving father. He was a very dedicated dad and involved in all his children’s activities growing up. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Arlene Weissman Blum; his sister, Faye Klein; daughter, Alicia Espinal; and son and Daughter-in-law Brandon & Amber Blum. His pride and joy were his 4 grandchildren whom he loved very much: Alex, Sophie, Madison, & Brayden. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Weinstein Hospice, 3150 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327, www.weinsteinhospice.org. Following the service the family will receive guests at Brandon and Amber’s house.
