She is survived by her husband Wayne Baxter, her brother Richard Creasy, her two sons Rusty and Ricky Myers along with their wives Amanda and Rachel and her two dogs, Adler and Moriarty. Susan grew up outside of Knoxville in beautiful lake home that her father, Russell Creasy built. Susan graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1968. After college, she moved to Atlanta and built a thriving career as a Financial Advisor at Courts & company, Robinson-Humphrey and Smith-Barney. Susan was a vice president at Robinson-Humphrey and Smith-Barney. She was a pioneer in her career, having been one of the first highly successful female brokers in Atlanta. Susan continued to create art projects and paintings, many of which can be found on the walls in her home. Susan was dedicated to building her business, yet she always made time to be a mother to Rusty and Ricky. Susan’s parents, Russell and Marian Creasy, moved to Atlanta to be closer to her in the 1990’s. Her brother Richard moved to Atlanta a few years later. Susan met her husband, Wayne Baxter, in Atlanta and they were married on the beach in Charleston, South Carolina on February 13, 1999. Susan was fortunate to have many great friends in her life, most of whom she was close for several decades. Despite being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2002 while at the same time undergoing brain surgery to remove a tumor, she never let her physical struggles keep her from participating in everything she enjoyed. She enjoyed nothing more in life than spending time and dining out with her friends and family, followed closely by her love of shopping and giving gifts.
