Vicki was a graduate of Alabama College, class of 1969, with a degree in English and a minor in Home Economics. After graduation Vicki worked as a teacher, a retail manager, and one of the first employees of Graydaze Contracting.
Vicki’s love of gardening and homemaking was reflected in her home and family. She was an accomplished seamstress creating everything from school clothes, Easter dresses, and formal gowns, to draperies for her home. In any situation she had an appropriate quote from English literature, or Robert Frost poetry. Her love of reading inspired her own authorship of short stories and poems. She traveled the world and loved the ancient sites from the Pyramids to the Parthenon to the Terracotta Army. Her last trips included a day at the beach and a trip to her childhood home, Montevallo, AL.
