Vivian Daniel Mathis

Vivian Daniel Mathis, 89, devoted Wife, Mother, and caretaker of her family and loved by all, of Sandy Springs died June 2, 2013. She was born in Elberton, Georgia and grew up in LaGrange, Georgia. She attended LaGrange College and was a former editor of the LaGrange Dailey News and former President of Atlanta Textile Machinery, Inc. She was preceded in death by her husband Benton J. Mathis, Sr. and her daughter Elizabeth Teresa Mathis and is survived by her daughter Barbara Mathis Cavender and her husband John of Dahlonega, son, Benton J. Mathis, Jr. and his wife Mary Anne of Marietta, grandchildren, Ben, Joe, Annabelle and Patty Mathis; Michael Mantegna, Laura Eddleman and her husband Jon and great grandchildren Davis and Madison Eddleman.
