May  Michael soul rest in perfect peace.   He was a very smart man. He was a friendly and ambitious man. Most of all, he loved the Lord. I will miss him.

Thank you for creating a better opportunity with Grandma for Mom and Auntie.

We will miss Mr. Ben’s sweet smiles and the love he shared with us. Although we had a difficult time communicating, we always felt his love and appreciation for our friendship when he reached out for our hand. We will always remember the relationship he had with his daughter Benetta, who served him with the humility and love of Christ. He became her number one priority as she lavished him with love and care. Her example of selflessness is a living testimony of her faithfulness and love for her Heavenly Father, God. This love had an eternal impact on Ben’s life for which we are forever grateful . We love you Mr. Ben and will miss your presence in our lives  here on earth but look forward to being reunited with you one day!

I loved spending time with dad in my niece, Teaira's back yard.  She has a great garden space. Dad and I  would go around a water her plant and sometimes harvest the crop.

He loved to garden, plant flowers, vegetables and seeing them grow. He'll be one heaven's best Gardners, where veggies and fruits are overflowing & flowers are eternal.

My dear Mr Ben , my fellow believer , my client , my friend . May you rest peacefully in glory , the Lord keeps you and may your lasting impression remain in our hearts / soul for all the days of our lives . Benetta and family I thank you for sharing your father with me . He was just a joy , a hard working man that truly loves the Lord and his family . You and your family have always been there for dad and your dedication to his recovery is a powerful testimony of who he is / his children are and all the lessons he’s taught you ladies . As your dad would say every time “ May the Lord bless and keep you until we meet again” . God bless you all and know that your dad and his sweet words / smile will be missed . Love you always …. Bel

God. This was at my graduation party. It was an incredible memory with an incredible man.

Mr. Ben and Bennetta were the dream team. He gave her so much joy; shopping, gardening or having dance parties! He will be missed, but the memories made will always remain.

Ahhh Mr. Ben, I will miss your amazing smile that would light up your entire face and the warm embrace as you’d hold my hand as we talked.  It always was a comfort to me.  You will be deeply missed and prayers for God’s comfort for your entire family and friends around the globe. With love

What a good sport! …Will miss you dearly’

Mr. Ben will surely be missed! His distinguished presence, light-hearted and always so appreciative of a warm smile, a great worship song,  the laughter of his grandchildren or just the rays of the sunshine. Benetta was - as he was her “ride or die”! She consistently ensured that he was seen — and not just by her, but everyone in her sphere! 

Over the years, I watched him grow and change into a gentle, surrendered man of God with a peaceful, steadfast and grateful heart. I now imagine him walking with the Father and that gives me peace although his presence will truly be missed.
My prayers to all of his loved ones (including Rambo), but especially the woman who laid down her life for him, my dear friend, Benetta.
