I am forever grateful of being able to meet you when I finally did! You are such a bold, strong and courageous woman who lived up to the “legend” I had envisioned for many years!!! You created a beautiful family who misses you immensely and loves you greatly!!! May your spirit be free to sing and dance with the Mariachis in all eternity!!
With love forever,

I will hold all the good and funny memories close to my heart. Thank you for raising my dad, tias, and tios that I love so much and giving me a strong family. When I came to see you and you would hold my hand while we sat there and announce to anyone who walked by that I was your grandaughter, is always going to be special to me. I knew you were proud of me and I cant tell you how much that meant to me. I know you will always be in my heart and watching over us all. I love you always grandma.
Forever your nieta,

We will always love you and we will always miss you. It’s hard to believe you are gone from us down here, because you were one of the strongest women in the world . Now your up in heaven and you can protect us from above. We love you and our boys will grow up to be strong like you.

I remember that tia.
will protect me from everyone....

everyone will tell her why wouldn't she told me anything or punish me when I did something wrong..

she was my guardian angel....

I just left there Nest too early..

but she told me that I will never be too old to be scolded..

told my husband Rene Lopez if i doesn't act right or if I do not behave ..
to just let her know or bring her down here and I will put her in her place ..
would look
at me.
and say. would't I Chavela.
i would respond yes ma'am...

My husband would love to hear that
from my tia...

my tia.
would make my husband laugh..

was the only person that give me love and show me love ...

I always have and will..
respect adore and honor you tia. favorite niece Chavela.

Thank you . for being there for me .Chavela and my Tween Sister Martina.
and for our kids..
you know what I mean by that..
I love you always..
you will be debly deeply missed but never forgotten.
Legend Will Go On...
