Efren Marrufo

Efren Marrufo (Sapo) 54 passed away suddenly surrounded by his family in Santa Paula, CA. April 21, 2015, Efren was born on June 21, 1960 in Los Angeles, CA to Rita Flores and Damacio Marrufo. He is now resting peacefully in Heaven with his mother Rita Flores, daughter Arlene Marie Marrufo, and sisters Helen Flores, Rosie Flores, Isabel Carbajal and, Irma Lopez.

He leaves his wife Leticia (Flores) Marrufo, his son Mario Marrufo, his 4 daughters Annette Marrufo, Ofelia Marrufo, Naomi Marrufo, and Yvette Marrufo. Also his 12 grandchildren Arlando Gonzalez, Mario Marrufo Jr, Nathaniel Marrufo, Desiree Marrufo, Jasmine Marrufo, Arlene Marrufo, Vanessa Marrufo, Matthew Marrufo, Rayleen Flores, George Barajas, Issac Barajas and Gabriel Alvarez. Also his Tia Rosario, his brothers, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed spending his time playing basketball, listen to oldies, and playing chess. Efren was always cleaning his car listening to oldies, singing and playing pool. He loved joking around with his family and friends. You could always find him with the TV remote in his hand.

If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say good-bye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you, no one will ever know.
