It is with great sadness that the family of Frances Martinez, a lifelong resident of Piru, California, announce her passing on June 23, 2023 at the age 81 years of age. She was born in Piru on February 17, 1942, to the late Pablo and Angelita Martinez.
Frances attended Fillmore High School and worked as a cashier in the grocery store industry for 27 years. Following her retirement, she was able to travel the world with her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her beloved family members Joe, Frank, Patricio, Sidronio, Pasqual, Pat Aguilar, Evelyn Jimenez, Vera Trujilo, and Margaret Martinez.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her sister, Ofelia Almaguer; her son, Frank Castillo; her grandchildren Leandra, Ericka, and Gabriel; her great-grandchildren Daniel, Landyn, Isabel, and Miles; and numerous other family members, friends and fellow parishioners.
Frances was always willing to help others and cherished spending time with her family. She will be forever missed and loved unconditionally.
