Javier Javi Antonio Rodriguez

Javi is survived by his wife-Sheena Rodriguez, daughter-Angelina Rodriguez, son-Michael Rodriguez; and his mother-Teresa Rodriguez, sisters-Paty Sanchez, Ruth and Rebekah Rodriguez, brother-Robert Rodriguez, grandmother-Elena Sanchez, 10 nieces and nephews, extended family and many special friends.

Javi was born on Sept. 10, 1979 in Tarzana, CA. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish, camp and target shoot. As a Santa Paula Cardinal, he played football, soccer, basketball and ran track. He earned numerous trophies, medals and CIF Championships. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He married Sheena on Oct. 13, 2007 and the couple had two children together. Javi will always be remembered as a great family man, loving father, and friend.

A Viewing Service is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at Skillin-Carrol Mortuary, 738 E. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula, CA from 5:00-9:00pm.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Skillin-Carrol Mortuary, 738 E. Santa Paula St., Santa Paula from 10:00-11:30am.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014 at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery, 380 Cemetery Rd., Santa Paula; a reception to follow at Casa Del Mexicano, 218 S. 11th St., Santa Paula, CA. Dr. Sue Webb will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Javi’s life. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and gifts.
