Joseph Dennis Doering

With heavy hearts and deep love, we remember Joseph Dennis Doering, of Redding, California, a beloved husband, father, uncle, and friend, who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at the age of 82.

He was the devoted husband of Catherine Doering, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and quiet joy. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories.

Born to the late Esther and Joseph Doering, Joseph carried forward his parents' legacy of hard work, humility, and compassion. He was a loving and proud father to his son, Mark Doering, whose achievements and character were a great source of pride.

Joseph was also a treasured brother-in-law to Sandra Easley (Wesley) and a kind and supportive uncle to Matt Greenfield (Tiffany) and Todd Greenfield, always ready with a gentle smile or encouraging word. He held family close to his heart and touched the lives of many with his steady presence and caring spirit.

Those who knew Joseph will remember him for his quiet strength, his sense of responsibility, and the sincerity with which he lived his life. Whether offering advice, lending a hand, or simply listening, he gave his time and attention generously and without expectation.

His passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, but his legacy of love, respect, and quiet dignity will live on through the family and friends he cherished so deeply.
