Maria Del Rayo Maldonado

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Maldonado, who departed this life on April 17, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on March 23, 1957, in Mexico, Maria made her home in Santa Paula, California, where she spent the majority of her life surrounded by family, friends, and the natural beauty she so loved.

Maria was a woman of warmth, creativity, and quiet strength. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a passion for travel that took her on many memorable adventures. Most of all, she expressed her vibrant spirit through her artistic drawings, which captured the beauty she saw in the world and left a lasting impression on all who viewed them.

Maria is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Erika Rios; her devoted mother, Sabina Maldonado; her siblings, Octavio, Humberto, Heriberto, and Lorena; her cherished grandchildren, Kassaundra, Ralphy, Serena, and Syenna; and her three great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her father, Octavio Maldonado, whose memory she carried dearly in her heart.

Maria's legacy lives on in the creativity she shared, the love she gave, and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
