Rafael Mata Arias

Rafael Mata Arias a longtime Ventura County resident passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 68 years. Rafael was born in Sinaloa, Mexico on October 24, 1945. He was a very hard worker,worked over 50 years in agriculture. He loved baseball and was a big Dodgers fan.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Ana Maria De La Cruz, Father Luis Mata Arias, Brother Isabel "Chavelo" Arias, Son Frank Arias.

He is survived by Sons; Rafael Jr. and Jaime Arias, Daughters; Marisa Arias and Maria Arias Delgadillo, and son in-law Manuel Delgadillo, Brothers; Juan, Jose, Jesus, Avilio, Jorge, and Julian Arias and sister Josefina Arias.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6pm-9pm with a Rosary Officiated by Deacon Al at 6pm at Funeraria Del Angel Stetler Mortuary located at 128 S. 8th St. Santa Paula, CA. Funeral Service will be heald on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10am also at Funeraria Del Angel Stetler Officiated by Deacon Al. Burial to follow at Pierce Brothers Santa Paula Cemetery. Reception will follow burial at Funeraria Del Angel Stetlers Mortuary from 12pm-2pm
