Ramona lived a long, happy, and fulfilling life. She was a strong, kind, and loving woman who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed knitting and reading. She spent her final days surrounded by her loved ones and passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Ramona lived at Limoneira Ranch in Santa Paula for 61 years and proudly worked for Limoneira for 10 years. After retiring, she spent many happy years in Tijuana, Baja California, where she enjoyed the company of family and friends. In 2012, she returned to
Santa Paula, where she spent the remainder of her life watching her family continue to grow. One of the highlights of her week was the Sunday visits from her granddaughter, Christina.
Ramona was preceded in death by her Husband, Alberto Torres, sons, Humberto Torres, Mario Torres, Gustavo Torres, and Javier Torres; and by her great-grandsons, Gabriel Hernandez, Lil Ernie Guzman, and Angel Torres. She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Elena (Cesar) Osorio, Rosa (Raul) Rodriguez,
Esmeralda (Robert) Barrozo, and Norma (Mike) Robles; along with 18 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Ramona's strength, kindness, love, and gentle spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be greatly missed by all who
knew and loved her.
Lo mismo les pasa a ustedes; Ahora están tristes, pero cuando vuelva a verlos se alegrarán, y nadie les va a quitar esa alegría. -Juan 16:22
