Roberto M. Navarro was born on May 13, 1936, in Ojo Caliente, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Alberto Navarro and Secelia Murillo. At the age of 18, he came to the United States through the Bracero Program. He later settled in Santa Paula, California, where he began working for Limoneira Company. He went on to work at Servicios Agrícolas Mexicanos (SAMCO), where he held various office roles. Roberto dedicated more than 25 years of service before retiring in 2001.
Roberto had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed going to the beach, making birdhouses, fishing, watching boxing, and listening to music. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family.
He is survived by his four children: Roberto Navarro Jr. (Juana), Margaret Martinez (Jesus), and Rachel Navarro; Rosemary Hernandez (Ivan) as well as 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered for his hard work, his love of family, and the joy he found in everyday moments.
